Warm at last
Posted on March 10th, 2010 No commentsToday we had temperatures of 58° today and I cleaned the last of the snow from the driveway down to the building. While down there I put the mower deck back on the tractor and added the oil to the motor. The tractor ran OK and the mower started so I guess we are clear for the mowing season.
Tonight is the Youth services at church so I will do my usual security duty. SAM will probably be doing something with the food tonight as the other couple are in Florida. At least it will be warm outside but that brings its own special problems as the kids want to be outside.

YMCA visit
Posted on March 9th, 2010 No commentsWe visited the YMCA near our house today. There is a membership drive going on and they were offering some specials. I am enrolled as soon as I can get the physicians OK & I present my health insurance card. It is a nice facility for our county seat. Maybe I can get some pictures of it later. It looks like something to do on those long dark winter days. A plus is that the insurance health plan has reciprocity with all other YM/WCA’s. SAM decided to take the two weeks free introductory offer and can start right now! I think it is age discrimination.
